Front or rear titanium skid plate (item is sold as one piece, 2 pieces required for a front and rear complete setup) for the Tekno SCT410 2.0 or the custom SCT48 1/8 scale short course truck people are creating. These skid plates are made from 1mm thick grade 5 6Al4V USA made titanium. The skid plates feature an extended portion that attaches toward the top the stock skid plate with two M3 flathead screws and locknuts (not included). Simply cutoff and grind down your stock skid plate until it is flush with the bottom surface of the chassis. Then, attach your titanium skid plate with the four stock M4 screws. Next, use the titanium skid plate as a template and drill holes into your stock skid plate for the new M3 flathead screws and nuts. Attach the new M3 flathead screws through the titanium skid plate and stock plastic skid plate and secure with locknuts on the backside. That’s it, you’re done! Now your SCT will be much stronger and have more ground clearance. And they shoot sparks! 100% designed and manufactured in the USA utilizing USA made titanium!
